I never thought it would be this easy to get shower doors in New Jersey. I knew I needed to get my bathroom redone. I mean the place is from th 70s! Can I say avocado tiling? Blah! So yeah, that had to go, but that also meant the old shower. Not that i haven’t spent enough time in the tub, but I wanted to move on. I wanted something more modern and wow did I get it. Really the hardest part was getting the tiling but once I picked that out, it was easy. I was able to move right on to the hard part: figuring out the rest of the bathroom.
Now I knew I wanted a more closet style shower to go with the more modern look I needed in there. The grey slate tiles looked really sharp and adding in those chrome fixtures really added to entire concept. Now the doors though? Those were what I was worried about. I wanted the closet. I wanted something that would seal completely because I hated my old shower curtain. It never came clean. It dripped water, but those doors. Yeah, they really made the bathroom look sleek and modern. They really added that extra something I was looking for in the room. Honestly just the way they close brings me joy every time I use the bathroom. They close! It shouldn’t be this easy for me to be overjoyed, but when I get that steam bath going, which by the way, I paid extra for that, and those doors seal, i Just know that my day is going to get off to a good start. There’s a part of me which misses the avocado and even the tub, but once I turn on that steam shower, close the door, pick out my favorite aromatics and just step into that booth designed for me, all those worries are gone. I found my Zen, my perfect little Zen of a steam shower with those sealed shower doors in New Jersey.
